What exactly is an Eilder?

Ok, to let you all know. Here is what an Eilder is.

Eilder...Supposibly...I spelled it wrong in Word...dumb spell checker. Anyway, an Eilder is a very powerful being that can conjure up both dark and light magic. They are also summoners who can summon great spirits from beyond their world. There are three categories of Eilders: Eilderling, Great, and Divine. Eilderlings are young Eilders in thier learning stages, (that is Emi). Great Eilders (Emi's Grandmother) are Eilders who have mastered all elements of magic. They can be old or young (adult). A Divine Eilder is a rare occurance. Not many can obtain this level of power. A Divine Eilder is almost immortal. Great Eilders have a choice to either stay the way they are or become a Divine. Being a Divine Eilder can bring great power but also great sacrifices. Those who became Divine were so overwhelmed with power that either they couldn't handle it and were killed or they became obsessed with the power and use it for the wrong reasons. On a rarity does on actually survive the transformation and use the power in a positive way. Those who survive become spirits or angels or other forms. The tranformations are very different for everyone...if they reach that point. Now...i just have to figure out how a Great Eilder can becomes a Divine...but anyway....Eilders are not just something you wake up and decide to be one day. Eildership is something that is passed down through lineage. Now...there will be more to it...when I figure out what else is there that i want to add. I will post pictures of a couple depictions of Great and Divine Eilders. I really want to draw the Divines because they can take on so many different forms, so it will be interesting to draw and just let my imagination go wild.
